Archive Khanah has built an interactive sound platform to protect our listening heritage from exploring, listening to, and sharing knowledge about sounds made in Iraq, Kurdistan and beyond. This platform is based on the philosophy of computer gaming technology and with the following main objectives: Archiving Collectors Collections, networking with collectors, and labels. Digitising materials based on curatorial selection in collaboration with the collectors or the story of the archive. Developing computer gaming technology to promote archives for youth audience. Organising public exhibitions and performances. Publishing Archive from the minority cultures. Archive Khanah is a non-profit project founded in 2022 in Slemani. The project aims to create a platform that promotes diverse sound cultures without borders and preserves sound heritage for future generations. Archive Khanah initiative is part of SPACE21 Sound Gallery Projects
